"I am tired of living like I have to prove my worth"
More than a year ago, during the most challenging, chaotic, but honest time of my life, I wrote this:
“No, I don't have to do what you want me to. I am tired of living like I have to prove my worth.
I did that for years and let me tell you... it felt like fighting a storm that never ends, and drowning in my own tears. Alone.
Trying to be the best, the first, the one who takes care of everyone… took all the creativity, wildness, and fun out of me.
I lost my intuition. I lost connection with my inner peace and joy, and with my authentic self.
I lived in a place of fear for years! My mind became perfectionistic, overthinking, and harsh. My body became hypervigilant.
The chronic stress I lived with resulted in hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and a dysregulated nervous system that no doctor or supplement could fix.
Letting go of all that wasn't easy. I had to face all the pain and unprocessed emotions I carried in my body for years. I had to dig into my subconscious mind and find all those beliefs that were holding me back.
I spent months crying. I hurt the people I love the most and I hurt myself. I remember feeling completely lost and not knowing how the hell I would let go of all the chaos and heal my wounds.
My inner world was a never-ending storm.
But I kept walking because I've always been determined. I knew I couldn't give up.
There was a light in the middle of the storm.
I could see it every time I felt love and compassion for myself.
Every time I traveled back in time and gave myself a hug.
Every time I saw the depths of who I am.
And so I kept walking in that direction. And little by little I started to dry my tears and patch my wounds.”
It’s wild to see where I was back then and where I am now…
Feeling seen, loved, and safe within myself.
Building a business that makes my soul giggle.
Having a boyfriend who makes me laugh and cry tears of gratitude every day.
And being absolutely in love with the life we’re building.
I didn’t build this reality by fighting harder or using more willpower.
I built it by unlearning the need to prove my worth, learning how to heal my inner world, and coming back home to myself.
☀️ If you’re currently in the middle of that storm—exhausted, stressed, and tired of walking on the hustle treadmill—you don't have to navigate it alone…
I created HER Wild & Wise Home to be the guiding light I wished I had when I was in the middle of the storm. A safe space for female solopreneurs who are tired of carrying it all alone, and want to heal, integrate, and reconnect with their souls and power.
PS. I'm currently welcoming the next 15 women in as founding members at a special locked-in price before it goes up.
If you're ready to start that path, come join us.
Con mucho amor,
-Carolina.
